Soundcloud has been in beta for three years. That's 1068 days, and they still want you do dig through a bunch of code if you want to use a different player, or send someone a direct link to the file. Now I know, I could just use their player. When I tapes this video, their player was not displaying properly on Google+ (A problem I hope they fix in the future). The point is people who understand podcasting know you want the embed code, and more importantly you want a DIRECT LINK to the mp3.
